RJ posted a video from Normal showing an R2 in Borealis with the Coastal Cloud Signature interior coming off the line. Borealis isn't orderable yet, but Rivian says it opens later this month.

The highest R2 VIN spotted so far is 11491, according to the Rivian Roamer R2 Tracker. That's roughly 2,000 higher than the 9400s we saw at the end of August.

Coastal Cloud and Forest Green land later in August, Borealis follows in September, and all three come to the Launch Package.

Rivian has put a date on the second R2 shift at Normal, September 30, but the company also said the shift will not contribute material volume until the fourth quarter. Here is what that actually means for anyone still holding a reservation.
