A friend of RivianTrackr stopped by Rivian’s Meatpacking District Space in NYC and snapped some great photos of the R2 on display, and we’ve got a few interesting details to share. While this R2 might look like a new variant thanks to its darker silver finish, we’ve confirmed it’s the same original prototype shown earlier this year, now wrapped in a new color. RJ Scaringe has unveiled a production-intent prototype of the upcoming R2 in New York City, showcasing notable design updates and enhancements.
