Rivian’s 2025.46 update delivers solid improvements for both Gen 1 and Gen 2 vehicles, with Gen 2 seeing the biggest gains. Gen 2 adds Universal Hands-Free driving on supported roads, new autonomy drive styles, enhanced autonomy visuals, and easier speed control from the steering wheel. Both generations get a customizable driver display, navigation refinements, charging reliability fixes, better Digital Key performance, and several cold weather and stability improvements. Quad-Motor vehicles also receive Kick Turn and RAD Tuner updates, further boosting off-road capability. Overall, this is a well rounded update focused on usability, autonomy, and real world reliability.
