What’s Coming in 2024.47 (Holiday Update)

Rivian’s holiday cheer is rolling in with the upcoming 2024.47 update, packed with festive features, useful upgrades, and a sprinkle of fun for your R1T or R1S. From jingle bell lock sounds to improved driver assistance and even Google Cast and YouTube, there’s something for everyone. While this update is currently in preview, it’s expected to roll out to all Rivian owners in the coming weeks—just in time for the holidays!

Highlights for Rivian Gen 1

• Festive Holiday Features:
  • Optional jingle bell lock sound.
  • Green twinkling lights on front and rear light bars when locking.
  • Snow mode displays a snowman and festive pine trees on the center display.
• Entertainment Upgrades:
  • Introduction of Google Cast and YouTube while parked. These are currently in a preview phase and available without a Connect+ subscription for now.
  • SiriusXM with Pandora: Satellite radio and personalized streaming stations are now available for in-car listening.
• Driver Assistance Updates:
  • Chevron icons indicate vehicle slowing for curves when using Adaptive Cruise Control or Highway Assist.
• Comfort and Usability:
