Rivian Service Centers: What’s Open Now and What’s Coming Soon

Rivian is continuing to grow its service network to keep up with its expanding customer base. Whether you need routine maintenance or repairs, Rivian’s service centers are designed to provide fast and reliable support—plus, there’s mobile service for many issues so that help can come right to your door.
Current Service Centers
Rivian has opened service centers in key areas to ensure R1T and R1S owners have access to the care they need. But with more Rivians hitting the road every day, the need for new locations is bigger than ever.
New Service Centers Coming Soon
Rivian is already working on opening several new service centers in 2025 to support the growing number of customers and prepare for the launch of the R2 in 2026. Here are a few of the upcoming locations:
- Fort Myers, FL
- Ft. Lauderdale, FL / Boca Raton, FL (unconfirmed)
- Orlando, FL (unconfirmed, new larger location)
- Jacksonville, FL
- Raleigh, NC
- Roebling, NJ
- Edison, NJ
- Woodbridge, NJ / Edison, NJ
- Carlstadt, NJ
- Long Island, NY
- Syracuse, NY
- Canton, MA
- Springfield, OH
- Melrose Park, IL
- Tulsa, OK
- Tempe, AZ
- Burbank, CA
- Van Nuys, CA
- Modesto, CA
These new locations will help Rivian expand, especially in areas where customers currently have to travel long distances for in-person service.
Why 2025 is Critical for Rivian
Rivian’s R2 lineup, expected in 2026, will bring more affordable, compact EVs to the masses. This means Rivian’s customer base will grow fast—and that growth needs to be matched by an expanded service network. The more service centers Rivian opens in 2025, the smoother the R2 rollout will be for everyone.
Looking Ahead
Opening more service centers isn’t just about convenience—it’s about giving owners peace of mind. Whether you’re already driving an R1T or R1S, or planning to order an R2, Rivian’s goal is to make service as simple and stress-free as possible. With a solid service network in place, you’ll be able to focus on the adventure, not the maintenance.
No service centers in New Mexico. Tesla has two. I can’t realistically purchase a Rivian until that changes.
There needs to be one in Pittsburgh and one in Charleston, W.Va. There’s a big gap in coverage between the east coast and the mid-west. If nothing changes, I’ll have to drive 169 mi. one way to test drive an R2 when they’re available.
