Rivian Announces New East Coast Headquarters in Atlanta as Georgia Expansion Grows

Rivian is opening a new East Coast Headquarters in Atlanta by the end of 2025, further cementing its growing presence in Georgia. The office will be located at the Junction Krog District building along the Atlanta Beltline and is expected to house 100 employees initially, growing to 500 as operations expand in 2026.
This move ties into Rivian’s broader $5 billion investment in the state, including its upcoming 7,500-person manufacturing plant in Stanton Springs North near Social Circle. Governor Brian Kemp and Mayor Andre Dickens praised the announcement, highlighting Atlanta’s growing role in EV innovation and job creation.
Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe called Atlanta “a city full of top talent and creativity,” and the company says it plans to partner with Georgia’s universities and technical colleges as it scales.
