2025.38.30

Rivian knocked out a handful of annoying edge cases in this update, mostly around charging and connectivity. The team fixed a rare bug that could drain the 12 V battery when the truck woke from sleep, plus another that could randomly disable phone proximity features. The mobile app now reliably updates your current drive mode again, and a few uncommon fast-charging failures have been addressed. Rivian also resolved an issue affecting the charge port indicator and the in-vehicle charging status display, so everything should report accurately moving forward.

  1. This is the crap that annoys me.
Fixed an issue that disabled phone proximity features in rare conditions.

Its not rare ffs. So probably not fixed

  2. Any clue when 2025.46 will release this month? Seems interesting they did this minor hot fix.

  3. Looks like gen1 is already slipping… let’s see if they stick with their commitment. I’m sure they won’t.

  4. 38.30 installed twice on my R1S TriMax. Rather than fixing anything, it broke phone proximity unlock from sleep state. After the update, I now sometimes have to send an unlock command from the app to get the vehicle to open. Seems like this hotfix was pushed fast and with less than ideal controls.
