New Recall for 2025 Rivian R1T and R1S Over Front Turn Signal Issue
Rivian has issued a new recall affecting certain 2025 model year R1T and R1S vehicles due to a potential issue with the front turn signal lamps. According to the company, a supplier manufacturing issue may prevent one or both front turn signals from illuminating or flashing properly. This means the vehicle may not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108, which covers exterior lighting and signaling.
While Rivian says it’s not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the issue, it could reduce how clearly the vehicle communicates a turn to others on the road, increasing the risk of a crash.
Rivian will notify impacted owners by mail. If your vehicle is affected, you’ll be asked to bring it to a Service Center for a free repair. If you’re already noticing issues with your front turn signals, Rivian encourages you to contact their service support team at 1-855-748-4265 to schedule a visit.
You can also check Rivian’s Support Center for more details once recall notices begin going out.
