Hot Temps Derate Tesla Superchargers for Rivian, Ford EVs
My buddy Kyle Conner from Out of Spec Studios reported that he had been experiencing issues with Tesla Superchargers derating (reducing output power depending on the ambient conditions which in this cast would be extremely hot temperatures) Rivian and Ford vehicles. Rivian Layoffs Small Number of Salaried Positions
Rivian today announced that it had eliminated a small number of salaried positions, representing less than 1% of total employees. In April, Rivian increased its manufacturing efficiency enabling them to build the same number of vehicles as 2023 but with 2 shifts instead of 3. The majority of employees affected are a result of that move. Rivian did confirm no hourly employees were impacted by today’s layoff.
