Video – Is Rivian’s $5,000 Performance Upgrade Worth It?

I finally pulled the trigger on the Rivian Performance Upgrade for my R1S Dual Large and wanted to share the full experience with you all. If you’ve been on the fence about upgrading, this should help you decide.

  1. I was curious if you lose range as well. I think it is cool, but I would prefer to see a monthly option, especially for those that lease and don’t plant to keep the car for life. I also would be curious about the Range upgrade that is supposed to come for the Large+ Dual Mode R1S that gives full access to the Max pack. Again, would love to see a monthly option but fearing a $7000 upgrade….

  2. I just wish they had an option that made sense for people who were leasing. Maybe a monthly payment until your lease ends…
