VIDEO: Goodbye Gen 1 R1T – A Comprehensive Ownership Review

After nearly 3 years, countless road trips, and over 50,000 miles, I’m saying goodbye to my 2022 Rivian R1T Quad Motor. Before I trade it in for the Gen 2, I’m sharing everything about my ownership experience.

The good: Incredible performance, road trip adventures, and software updates that keep improving the truck.

The bad: Service quirks, early design flaws, and a tonneau cover that’s seen better days.

The ugly: Wear and tear, plus the one big issue that left me stranded.

If you’re a Rivian owner, an EV enthusiast, or just curious about what it’s really like to own one of these trucks, this video is for you.

I’d love to hear your thoughts—have you had similar experiences with your Rivian or another EV? Let me know in the comments.
