RJ Scaringe Announces R2 Production Expansion at Rivian’s Normal Plant

The expansion at Rivian’s manufacturing plant in Normal, Illinois, is set to support the production of Rivian’s highly anticipated R2 platform. This new platform, expected to introduce a more compact and accessible electric vehicle to Rivian’s lineup, is a key part of Rivian’s growth strategy and will likely appeal to a broader market.
