Rivian’s New April Lease Offer Gives You $10,500 to Trade In Any Vehicle
Rivian just rolled out a new leasing incentive for April, and it’s a solid follow-up to last month’s wildly popular All-Electric Upgrade Offer. This time around, it’s called the Electric Refresh Offer, and it’s aimed at getting even more people behind the wheel of an R1T or R1S — with a little extra cash in your pocket if you’ve got a vehicle to trade in.
Here’s how it works: If you lease a new R1T or R1S and trade in any vehicle — gas, hybrid, or even another EV — you can get up to $10,500 in total lease offers. That breaks down to a $3,000 Electric Refresh credit at trade-in, plus the standard $7,500 EV lease credit.
To qualify, you need to do two things:
- Order your R1T or R1S between April 1–30, 2025
- Actually trade in a vehicle (just getting an estimate like last month doesn’t cut it this time)
That’s one key difference from the All-Electric Upgrade Offer. Another big change? This new offer applies to all 2025 R1T and R1S variants — not just the Max pack battery builds like last time.
A couple fine-print details to keep in mind:
- Orders placed before April 1, 2025 aren’t eligible
- Preorders or reservations that weren’t converted to confirmed configurations by April 1 also aren’t eligible

If you’ve been sitting on the fence, now’s a great time to make a move. The Electric Refresh Offer is a strong incentive that rewards not just EV converts, but anyone ready to say goodbye to their current ride — gas-powered or not.
