Rivian Recalls Some 2025 R1T and R1S Models for Headlight Issue

Rivian just issued a recall for some 2025 R1T and R1S models because of a headlight issue that could mess with visibility in cold weather. Basically, some headlights might not turn on at startup due to a supplier’s mistake, which means these vehicles don’t meet federal safety standards for lighting.

So far, Rivian hasn’t reported any accidents or injuries from this, but obviously, driving with faulty headlights isn’t ideal—especially in bad weather conditions. If your truck or SUV is affected, Rivian will send you a notice in the mail with instructions on how to get it fixed for free at a service center.
