Rivian Plans New EV Service and Demo Center in Appleton, Wisconsin

Rivian may soon open a new electric vehicle service and demo center in Appleton, Wisconsin. A developer has proposed a 33,000-square-foot facility at 3275 E. Winslow Ave, near State 441 and Northland Avenue. This would be Rivian’s second location in the state, alongside its existing Menomonee Falls site.

The space would serve as a prep and demo site for Rivian vehicles, offering test drives and EV education to the public. No direct vehicle sales are planned.

The Appleton Plan Commission has recommended approval of the required special-use permit. The City Council will vote on August 6. Construction is expected to begin in September, with the center opening in summer 2026.
