Rivian Opens Rivian Commons and East Coast Headquarters in Atlanta

Rivian has officially opened Rivian Commons, a new community hub in Atlanta. The space is part of Rivian’s new East Coast Headquarters and serves as a welcoming spot for people to learn about the brand, check out its vehicles, and see what’s coming next for Rivian in Georgia.

The grand opening took place on October 25, featuring local vendors, activities, and a first look inside the space. “We’re excited to open Rivian Commons to the public as our latest gathering point in the city, right next to the Beltline,” said Jimmy Knauf, Rivian’s Executive Vice President for Facilities.

Rivian will also occupy the top floor of the same building, supporting around 500 employees as work ramps up on its new manufacturing facility in Social Circle. Once complete, that site is expected to employ 7,500 people and produce up to 400,000 vehicles annually. Rivian Commons marks the start of the company’s growing footprint in Georgia and its connection with the local community.

  1. This is great news! Also hoping for a service center and showroom out here in Spokane, in Washington State! Can’t wait to test drive an R2!
