Rivian just expanded its online pre-owned vehicle shop to include Idaho and Missouri, giving more customers a chance to snag a used R1T or R1S directly from the company. These two new additions join a growing list of states where Rivian sells certified pre-owned vehicles: Utah, Virginia, Oregon, Florida, Colorado, Arizona, California, Illinois, and Nevada.
Every pre-owned Rivian goes through a thorough 132-point inspection before hitting the site, ensuring it meets the brand’s standards. These vehicles have been previously owned, but Rivian aims to offer a like-new experience with each one.
There are still some caveats, though. California residents can only buy pre-owned Rivians located in California—and folks in other states can’t buy pre-owned Rivians from California at all. Meanwhile, residents of Massachusetts and Nebraska are currently out of luck entirely; Rivian isn’t offering pre-owned sales to or from those states just yet.
As the pre-owned program continues to grow, keep an eye out for more states being added to the list.
