Rivian Expands Leasing Options to Idaho

Rivian has made leasing available to customers in Idaho, marking the first expansion in its leasing program since July. With Idaho joining the list, Rivian now offers leasing options in 37 of the 50 states, giving EV enthusiasts in the state access to Rivian’s all-electric R1T and R1S models through flexible leasing terms.

This addition is particularly notable as Rivian’s leasing expansion had paused, with no new states added for several months. While leasing was already accessible to residents of most of the United States, Rivian’s recent move signals the company’s commitment to expanding its accessibility in underserved regions, particularly as interest in electric vehicles grows.

Just yesterday, Rivian introduced a new incentive for drivers of hybrid and gas vehicles to get $3,000 off select Rivian models. Plan to continue to see these types of incentives as we get closer to the end of the year and Rivian does a big push in Q4.

This map showcases every state, in yellow, that currently offers leasing for Rivian vehicles.

  1. Would be really nice to know what Rivan’s plan for deliveries to 5+ year preorder holders in places that don’t have a service center. I live in Manitoba, Canada, and it doesn’t look like there will be any deliveries before 2026.
