Rivian Expands Gear Shop With New Gen 2 Front Trunk Accessories and Towing Eyelet

Rivian dropped a few new replacement parts in the Gear Shop, and these are the kind of small, practical additions owners always ask about.

The new Towing Eyelet is just $35 and is meant for R1 Dual Standard models that do not have tow hooks. It is a simple, functional add on that finally gives those builds a proper recovery point.

They also added a Front Trunk Load Floor for $180 for both R1T and R1S. This one is Gen 2 only and has a reversible design, carpet on one side and a rubberized surface on the other, so you can swap depending on what you are hauling.

There is a new $65 First Aid Kit that fits perfectly in the Front Trunk Storage Tray on Gen 2 R1 vehicles, which is a nice touch for anyone who likes keeping things organized up front.

And if you have broken or misplaced that Front Trunk Storage Tray, Rivian now sells a $50 replacement for Gen 2 owners.

  1. Apparently these are all standard on the 2026 models; these 4 pics show items that were already in our R1T when we picked it up in Eastvale less than 3 weeks ago. Also in the molded foam part was the air hose kit. First thing I did in the frunk was notice the double-sided floor and flipped it to rugged side up!

    • They are all standard on 2025 models as well. I got a 2025 Standard R1S in October 2024 and it came with ALL of these items. I think it’s just the first time they are being sold individually. Literally all of these items came in my frunk at no extra charge.
