Rivian Confirms More Charging Outposts Coming to More States

The Joshua Tree Rivian Charging Outpost has only been open for about a week and we are already getting details from Rivian about where the next Charging Outposts will open. In a recent article on The Verge, Rivian shared details that they intend to open more Rivian Charging Outposts in the following states:

  • Texas
  • Colorado
  • Illinois
  • Michigan
  • Montana
  • Pennsylvania
  • New York

Rivian has opened two Outposts, one in Yosemite and another in Joshua Tree, to date. While the Yosemite location currently is not open to all EVs and is exclusive to Rivian, Joshua Tree was the very first Rivian Adventure Network site to open to all EVs. Since last week, we’ve seen two more normal Rivian Adventure Network locations open to all EVs. These are located near or in US National Parks so we can expect that the future locations will also be near a US National Park.
