Rivian App Update 2.20.0 Adds New Controls and Performance Upgrade

Rivian’s latest app update (2.20.0) brings some handy new features—but you’ll need vehicle software 2025.06 to use most of them.

Now, you can open the charge port with a tap, track a loved one’s trip destination and ETA, and manage your tires in the app, including tracking mileage and setting rotation reminders. Charge limit presets also make a return.

For Dual-Motor owners, Rivian is offering a new Performance Upgrade as an in-app purchase, unlocking more power, faster acceleration, and three adventure-ready drive modes.
