IONNA Hits 115 Charging Sites Across 30 States With New Seffner Opening

IONNA will open a new fast-charging site near Tampa this Friday, marking its 17th location in Florida and signaling more to come.
The new Rechargery is in Seffner, just east of Tampa, and IONNA plans a proper launch event on June 26. Expect a ribbon cutting, live music, and the company’s signature retro styling. CEO Seth Cutler will attend alongside local officials and utility partners. The Friday event is invite-only for the press, but RivianTrackr will be there to cover it.
For Rivian owners, here’s what matters: Every IONNA site offers both NACS and CCS connectors. Whether you’re driving a Gen 1 with an adapter, a Gen 2, or eventually an R2, you can pull in and charge. The hardware supports up to 400 kW, which is well above the current limit for Rivian vehicles.
It’s also worth noting that IONNA is backed by eight automakers: BMW, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis, and Toyota. Rivian isn’t among them, but with dual connectors, all drivers have access. The network now spans more than 115 sites across 30 states.
If you want to check it out for yourself, the weekend is your best bet. IONNA will host customer clinics across the state: Jacksonville and Seffner on June 27, then Casselberry and Pembroke Park near Miami on June 28. All events run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The bigger draw comes a few days later. From July 2 through July 5, IONNA will drop its rate to $0.20 per kWh across the network for the holiday weekend—nearly half off the usual $0.39 rate. If you’re planning a trip, that’s the window to hit the road.
Seventeen sites don’t make a finished network, and IONNA still has to prove itself on uptime. But the build-out is real, it’s happening close to home, and the more of these that fill in along our regular routes, the less reason there is to stay put.

Excellent article about a company that came together from 8 different visions, seeing what needs to be done and done the right way!
Great article. The network is growing, not as fast as they would like, though. Still, it is an amazing feat, and the more reliable EV charging the better.
Ionna is having Station Hands host get-togethers at many sites across their network. I am hosting one in Fruita, CO. All are happening on June 27th.
Jose, does IONNA support plug N charge with Rivian vehicles? Or do you need to enter your credit card each time you use it?
