ALSO Reveals Alpha Wave Helmet for $250 Ahead of Preorders
Rivian’s e-mobility brand ALSO has announced pricing for yet another product, and this one is for the riders out there. The new Alpha Wave Helmet comes in at $250 and will be available to pre-order soon. It comes in Moon Rock [white] or Obsidian [black] and you can pick between three sizes, small, medium, or large. This helmet gives off full on TRON vibes and I’m here for it.
ALSO calls Alpha Wave the official helmet of Transcendent Mobility, and the whole pitch leans into that idea. Next generation fit, built in sound and lighting, and a safety setup that goes beyond what you would expect from a typical bike helmet. They even tease that it is meant to bring you into a “flow state” when you ride. Preorders will open soon, with shipping planned for spring 2026.
Specs are solid for an early product in the ALSO lineup. The helmet weighs about 550 grams, charges over USB C, includes a 200 lumen headlight, and even has a 75 lumen task light for low light moments. It is another sign that ALSO is starting to flesh out the ecosystem ahead of the TM-B electric bike launch, and I would not be surprised to see more gear from them very soon.
