$7,500 Rivian EV Lease Credit Ends September 30 With No Guarantees After

Time is running out to grab the $7,500 EV lease credit. On September 30, the program officially ends, and the only way to guarantee you qualify is to actually take delivery of your Rivian by that date.

Now technically, there is a loophole. If you sign a binding contract and make your payment before September 30, you could still take delivery after the deadline and keep the credit. But here’s the catch, Rivian hasn’t announced that they’re offering this option. Until they do, the safest bet is to assume you must have your R1T or R1S in your driveway by September 30.

What happens starting October 1 is a big unknown. Without the credit, Rivian may need to adjust lease pricing, monthly rates will likely climb, and the deals we’re seeing right now could disappear completely.

If you’ve been sitting on the fence, this is the last chance to lock in a Rivian with the $7,500 baked in. Wait too long, and you might find yourself paying quite a bit more come October.
