Rivian’s New R1S Large+ Variant is a Max Pack in Disguise
As reported on X earlier today, Rivian is now selling Generation 2 Rivian R1S Large variant vehicles on the R1 Shop but with one caveat… it’s a Max pack that is software locked. Rivian has introduced a new battery variant called “Large+” although you won’t see that label anywhere on Rivian.com if you try to search for it.
