Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe took to the stage during Climate Forward in New York City this week during Climate Week NYC 2024 to talk about Rivian and the EV market. RJ spoke about the political climate and how electric vehicles have become a partisan issue in the United States and why it shouldn’t be a political issue. RJ shared his concerns about the huge misinformation on electric vehicles, especially the battery supply chain. RJ additionally spoke about how so many countries around the world are shifting gears and moving away from fossil fuels and how the US hasn’t taken the necessary steps, as a country, to move away from fossil fuels.
