Rivian just rolled out a new lease deal, and it’s looking pretty solid. If you’re eyeing an R1T or R1S with the Dual-Motor Standard pack, you can now lease one starting at $599/month with $6,000 down on a 24 or 36-month term (10k miles per year).
To give you an idea of the numbers, let’s take an R1S Dual Standard in LA Silver with 20” All-Season tires, Black Mountain interior, and the Bright package. After factoring in the $6,000 down payment, $895 acquisition fee, taxes/fees (varies by location), and first month’s payment, you’d be looking at $641/month for 36 months and bringing about $10,390 at signing (this includes all the above including the $6,000 down payment).
And here’s a nice bonus—leasing qualifies for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit, which is already baked into the lease pricing. Rivian’s new lease offer applies to R1 Shop and custom builds, and requires ordering between Feb 12 – Mar 15, and delivery by Mar 31 to qualify.

I read your article about the Dual Standard lease for $599, but with a $6000 down in my area, the monthly payment for a R1S is $805. I think your article could be a little misleading, but I appreciate your passion for Rivians. I’ve been looking to get a R1S for a while.
