Rivian VP of Manufacturing Tim Fallon Leaves; Joins Stellantis

Rivian Vice President of Manufacturing, Tim Fallon, is leaving Rivian after 2 years at the company. Fallon had been instrumental in ramping operations at the Normal, IL factory. Fallon will be joining Stellantis as the head of Manufacturing in North America.

Carlo Materazzo who is the Vice President of Supply Chain and Logistics, will be stepping up in the interim to lead manufacturing while Rivian searches for someone new to take on the role. Materazzo has a long history in manufacturing and operations, most recently at Stellantis where he was the Head of Assembly Operations and Head of Manufacturing Planning and Control.

In an internal email to employees, CEO RJ Scaringe said “Our manufacturing operation has made tremendous progress during the past few years. Our continued progress is critical for us as we focus on executing on our path to profitability.”
