Rivian Shifts Focus from Return Policy to Demo Drives for Customer Satisfaction

For the last few years, Rivian has had a very nice and generous vehicle return policy that allows owners unsatisfied to return their vehicle to any Rivian Service Center within 7 days or 1,000 miles (whichever came first). Rivian has now changed this policy and eliminated it.

As of today, if you purchase a Rivian vehicle there is no longer a vehicle return policy. Rivian has made it clear that they encourage owners to get behind the wheel at a demo drive to ensure that Rivian vehicles are right for you.

Rivian originally introduced the return policy to match what Tesla offers. As a young startup company, it made sense for Rivian to have something in place to ensure early owners would be satisfied with their costly purchase. Now that Rivian is growing and has been established for a few years and offers ways for potential owners to get behind the wheel before ownership, there is no longer a need for it.
