Rivian Extends Preorder Price Lock for Canadian Regions Without Deliveries Until 2026

Great news for Rivian preorder holders who live in part of Canada where deliveries have not begun yet, Rivian is extending preorder price benefits through December 31, 2026.

In an email to future customers in parts of Canada such as Nova Scotia where Rivian is not delivering vehicles yet, Rivian shared the news that they will be extending preorder price benefits until the end of 2026 since they have no plans to be able to deliver vehicles before the end of the current preorder pricing period which ends on September 30, 2024.

As of the writing of this article, Rivian has not announced any public plans for future Canada expansion. However, we can hope to see that come in the coming years, especially with the R2 launch in early 2026 including Canada.

As a reminder for those in the US and eligible parts of Canada still holding on to a preorder voucher, you must place your order by September 20, 2024, and take delivery before September 30, 2024, or you will lose your voucher.
