Rivian Chief Commercial Officer Resigns

Kjell Gruner, the Chief Commercial Officer at Rivian since September 2023, informed the company he will resign effective July 26th. Gruner will remain at Rivian until February 17, 2025, to help transition. Gruner has not shared his plans for the future.

Gruner joined Rivian in September 2023 after being with Porsche Cars of North America as its President and CEO. Dagan Mishoulam, Vice President of Strategy and Go-to-Market, will assume many of Gruner’s responsibilities while taking the role of Senior VP, Commercial.

Gruner’s resignation was amicable and was not a result of any disagreement about the company’s finances, operations, or practices.
