Rivian and Caruso Expand Partnership with 150 Plus Fast Chargers and Two New Showrooms in Southern California

Rivian is going bigger on its Caruso partnership, adding more than 150 DC fast chargers across Caruso’s Southern California properties along with two new showrooms opening in 2026. The news comes from Electrek’s reporting, and it lines up cleanly with the strategy Rivian has been running for a while now. Put charging and brand experiences where people already are, instead of asking them to go out of their way.
The two new showrooms are headed to The Commons at Calabasas and The Americana at Brand in Glendale. Rivian already has a presence at The Grove and Americana, and these new ones will follow the same gallery-style approach the company has used elsewhere. Less sales floor, more space to actually sit with the vehicles.
The chargers are part of the Adventure Network, open to all EVs, and powered by renewable energy. Rollout is over the next year across LA, Glendale, Calabasas, Marina del Rey, and Thousand Oaks.
If you live in any of those areas, this is just going to make charging part of your normal routine instead of something you plan around.
Owners enrolled in Caruso Signature still get free annual parking across the portfolio, and there’s now year-round ride and drive programming baked into the deal. Rivian is also staying on as the presenting sponsor for the 25th Christmas at The Grove, which is a small thing on paper but a pretty big moment for visibility in LA every year.
What I keep coming back to is the timing. R2 deliveries are about to start, California is the biggest market for it, and Rivian is dropping showrooms and chargers in the exact spots where future R2 owners already shop and eat and park. None of that is an accident. Whether this scales the same way in other regions or stays a Southern California play is the part worth watching.
