Rivian R2 Coastal Cloud and Forest Green Arrive in August

Rivian has confirmed to RivianTrackr that the Coastal Cloud Signature interior will be available later in August, with Forest Green opening up at the same time. Borealis is still on track for September. All three will be available with the Launch Package.

The two colors were held off the initial R2 order sheet, and Coastal Cloud had only been described as a later 2026 addition. Now there are months attached to all three

Black Crater has been the only interior available since customer deliveries started, and a light cabin changes how a vehicle feels day to day.

Borealis showing up last tracks with how Rivian rolled it out on the R1 side, where it ran as a short window limited color on the R1T and R1S before carrying over into the R2 plan.

If you already have an order in, you can configure one of these now and leave it. Rivian will reach out when your build is ready to go into production, so there is no reason to cancel and start over to get one of the later options.
