Rivian’s micromobility spinoff, Also, is just weeks away from officially unveiling its first product, but thanks to Electrek, we may already have a good idea of what’s coming. In a behind-the-scenes marketing video, Also accidentally revealed several frames of the new e-bike before censoring kicked in, giving us a clearer look at the design.
The leaked images show a silver e-bike with roughly 20-inch wheels, front and rear suspension, and a unique frame design that blends the look of a bicycle with that of a small moped. A large rear rack floats above the back wheel, hinting at a swingarm setup, while an inverted front fork suggests higher-end components. There’s also a big headlight on the headtube that matches teaser shots we’ve seen, carrying forward some Rivian design DNA.
It’s still unclear whether the battery is removable or what kind of tech is packed inside, but given Rivian’s engineering support, expectations are high. With these leaks, the buzz around Also’s debut just got a whole lot bigger.
Wouldn’t that be cool if the battery could charge where the camp speaker stores?
I doubt that sucker has enough juice to charge a battery like that anything close to fast but yes, it would be neat.
