Here’s Why The Rivian Gen 1 Floor Mats Don’t Fit On Gen 2 Vehicles

Stopped by the Rivian Seattle Space and decided to check out a few cool features on the new Gen 2 R1S they had on display. While there, I grabbed a floor mat from a Gen 1 R1S they had and decided to check out why they don’t fit on the new Gen 2 models. Turns out Rivian made some subtle changes to the driverside floor mat and the original one doesn’t fit anymore.
