Californians Flock to Rivian as Registrations Soar 77% 

Californians love Rivian and it shows! The California New Car Dealers Association reported that Rivian registrations were up 77% year-to-date compared to the same time in 2023 while Tesla registrations fell 17% in the same period. In the category of Luxury Large SUV, the Rivian R1S had a total of 4,837 registrations YTD 2024 through June followed by the Lexus TX, Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes GLS-Class, and Land Rover Range Rover.
