The Bay Area Rivian Club is excited to announce its upcoming “Rivian and Refreshments” event, taking place on August 24th from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. This gathering is tentatively set to be held in the parking lot of the Electrify Expo, creating the perfect atmosphere for electric vehicle enthusiasts to connect over coffee and conversation.
What to Expect
Sponsored by Rivian, the event will feature complimentary coffee, tea, and what Rivian is calling “lite bites”—a selection of breakfast pastries to kickstart your morning. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet and chat with Rivian representatives, who will be on hand to answer questions and engage with the community.
In addition to the morning meet-up, Rivian will have a prominent display at the Electrify Expo itself. This includes the much-anticipated demo drives, likely featuring the Generation 2 R1S, giving attendees a first-hand experience of Rivian’s latest innovations. Excitingly, Rivian will also be showcasing the upcoming R2 model, similar to their recent display at the Denver expo.
The Bay Area Rivian Club will also make a special appearance in the Showoff section of the expo. We’re working on bringing together 2-3 of our members’ customized R1S and R1T vehicles to display, showing off the unique and creative ways our community personalizes their Rivians.
Raffle and Giveaways
As part of the “Rivian and Refreshments” event, Rivian is generously providing items for a raffle. While the exact prizes are still under wraps, we anticipate they’ll include more than just the usual hats, pins, and stickers. To add a bit of excitement, anyone who books a demo drive during the event will receive two additional entries into the raffle, increasing their chances of winning some exclusive Rivian swag.
