Rivian Spinoff ALSO Delays TM-B E-Bike to November

If you have a TM-B on reserve, it’s not showing up this month. ALSO told reservation holders this week that Launch Edition bikes will ship in waves between now and early November, replacing the mid-September date the company gave last month.

Regular reservation holders wait longer than that. ALSO recently opened ordering to that group, but those bikes won’t move until the Launch Edition units clear, so they start in early November and run through the end of the year depending on order date and configuration. The company says it will send more specific timing through September and add per-configuration estimates to the ordering system.

Owners are stuck on the “now shipping” language. The question going around Reddit is whether any bikes have reached paying customers rather than influencers, friends, family, and people connected to the company. ALSO posted photos of bikes coming off the line at its factory, which is progress, but a bike in production is not a bike in your garage.

So what’s the timeline been so far? Well, spring 2026 became July, July became August, August became mid-September, and mid-September is now early November. That is a year of moving dates on a bike that was revealed last October.

I’ll be keeping an eye out this month to see if we see actual deliveries happen to normal customers. If the waves actually run through November, it becomes a rough launch that everyone forgets by spring. If November moves too, ALSO walks into the base model and the TM-Q with a credibility problem, and that costs a lot more to fix than a supply chain.

  1. They charged my credit card for the bike as soon as I put in my order and then sent an email with this new shipping information. Crazy they can hold our money that long without shipping the product.

  2. That’s a bummer. Now my launch edition second hand market is now also delayed by multiple years. 😁😝

  3. I ordered mine in October of last year. I know it’s a new product, they want to take their time, do it right, but the lack of information coming out from Also is the sad part.
