Here’s Where Rivian Is Opening New Service Centers in 2025

Last month, RJ Scaringe said Rivian was focused on “quickly scaling up and improving service,” and we’re now seeing more of that take shape. Rivian currently operates about 77 Service Centers across North America, intending to hit 100 soon. Even more important? The plan is for 70% of all service issues to be handled through mobile service, which means fewer trips to a shop and more convenience for owners.

RivianTrackr can now confirm several new Service Center locations planned for 2025. As always, this list is subject to change depending on construction timelines, permits, and other delays, but here’s what we know so far:

  • Bothell, WA
  • Hayward, CA
  • Ladson, SC
  • Canton, MA
  • Fort Myers, FL
  • Belgrade, MT
  • Woodbury, MN
  • Buffalo Grove, IL
  • Roebling, NJ
  • Charlotte, NC
  • Roswell, GA
  • Hudson, NH

These new spots help Rivian reach more owners in the Northeast, Southeast, and Midwest, with a few key additions on the West Coast as well. Belgrade, Montana, is especially notable, marking Rivian’s first official service presence in the state.

With R2 on the way and the Rivian owner base growing fast, this kind of expansion is critical. We’ll keep an eye on these locations and report back as they begin construction or open.

      • Not knowing all the details. And not ever having an EV but definitely starting some research on them. More and more chargers are popping up. Tesla superchargers at my local target. I do know they put Rivian charges off of I-10 about 45 minutes from me. So maybe eventually something may come this way

  1. Did they abandon the Hudson. NH one? that was targeted for This summer / labor day. For not an EC friendly state, we have a lot of EVs and many Rivians, Having this SC might fulfil state obligations so they can offer leasing here.

  2. Hey, my neighboring city is on the list! That’ll make me feel much better when I finally pull the trigger (likely a later R2 adopter here).

  3. Looks like Jacksonville, Fl service center plan has been delayed and not hopefully not cancelled altogether. I am hoping Rivian follows through with it. If not here in Jacksonville, Fl at least somewhere along the I-95 corridor in Northeast Florida or Southeast Georgia to accommodate Southeast portions of South Carolina, Georgia and Northeast Florida. It would make for much easier service coordination and drive than Orlando.

  4. Bend or Medford, OR would be really helpful to add as someone who loves 5 hours from my nearest service center currently and outside mobile service routes. Fortunately have needed only one service since purchase last fall (minor assembly issue), but still…too many of us are “on an island” geographically

  5. I think you may have overlooked the one in process for Sterling, VA (outside of Washington DC). I’ve actually seen the building and as of about a month ago, the entire exterior is finished including plants and trees. Guesing it will open next month or August. I have recent pics. It’s also on the Rivian website as a planned SC.
