Gear Guard Live Cam
Gear Guard Live Cam allows you to view live video streams from the Gear Guard cameras on your Rivian mobile app (version 2.14.0 or later). You can initiate Live Cam while the vehicle is parked. You can check on the vehicle spontaneously, or in response to a notification from the Gear Guard alarm system. Use the Rivian mobile app to:
- View live camera feeds when the vehicle is in Park.
- Receive notifications and review camera feeds when the alarm is triggered.
- Switch between camera feeds for any of the Gear Guard cameras.
NOTE
Gear Guard Live Cam requires you to have a Connect+ subscription and to opt into precise location sharing with the Rivian mobile app.
Running a virtual private network (VPN) client on your mobile device may prevent your ability to view live camera feeds.
Tri-Zone Climate
Your vehicle now provides three distinct climate zones: driver seat, front passenger seat, and rear passenger seats. Each is customizable, making every trip more comfortable. You can now:
- Manage the temperature settings for all three zones using the Climate Controls panel on the center display.
- View and adjust the temperature setting for the rear zone through the rear display.
- Heat the rear seats from the Vent Controls panel by selecting the graphic of the seat you want to heat.
New Animations for Drive Mode Settings
We’ve added new animations to help you better understand the changes you make to the Ride Height, Brake Regen, Stability, and Ride Feel settings. When you update a setting, an animation shows you helpful visual information about the settings you are changing and how it affects your vehicle.
- The Ride Height animation shows the ground and overhead clearance of the vehicle at different ride heights.
- The Ride Feel settings animation shows how the vehicle responds to the terrain it is traveling over.
- Stability settings visualization displays information about how much the vehicle is allowed to slip from the intended path.
