Wears quickly
They were fine overall, but am at 3 or 4/32" at 22K miles and roughly half of those miles were on a totally different set of winter tires, so these lasted me somewhere between 10-15K miles. I get that R1S's are heavy with good torque, but would have expected at least 20-30K miles out of a set of OEM tires. I only have a dual non-performance, so can't imagine how much worse the wear would be on the quicker trims.

Good but expensive
I decided to stay OEM for my second set of tires.
Started with Pirelli Sport Scorpions on ym Gen1 R1S, lasted until 21k miles. These 2nd gen MS tires performed better with efficiency slightly higher with 2.22 vs 2.3 m/kWh. Expensive though. They're still going but I think they'll live only until 22k miles this time.
