Amazon Partners with ALSO for Thousands of TM-Q Cargo Quads Launching in 2026

ALSO just landed a major partnership with Amazon to deliver thousands of its new TM-Q pedal-assist cargo quads. Designed for dense cities, these compact four-wheelers can haul over 400 pounds of packages while staying small enough for bike lanes, a huge plus for Amazon’s micromobility hubs across the U.S. and Europe.

The deal, announced at ALSO’s Oakland event, builds on the strong relationship between Rivian and Amazon. RJ Scaringe said the collaboration draws heavily from what Rivian learned building the electric delivery vans, allowing both companies to manage their fleets through one connected portal.

The TM-Q shares its core tech with ALSO’s TM-B e-bike, including a pedal-by-wire drivetrain, removable batteries, and a 5-inch touchscreen for navigation, media, and security. For delivery use, Amazon’s version will get dedicated software to handle routing, logistics, and charging.

There’s also a consumer TM-Q in the works. Same quad platform, but instead of a cargo topper, it’ll have an open bench setup for hauling people, pets, or groceries. RJ hinted at more variations down the line, because while designing a new car body costs billions, reconfiguring a quad like this “costs a lot less.”

The TM-Q launches in spring 2026, signaling a big next step for ALSO as it expands beyond two wheels and into commercial fleets.
