Rivian R2 – Future of Rivian Software
Alex from AutoBuyersG got hands-on with the Rivian R2. I grabbed some screengrabs from his video on beautiful future software update changes. Very excited to see the direction Rivian and the software team are taking with software. We’ll see all of these elements come to current R1 vehicles in the near future.
Rivian Factory Shut Down Q2 2024
The Normal, IL Rivian factory will be shut down for retooling on April 5-30, 2024. As part of this shutdown, Rivian expects to significantly reduce fixed costs per vehicle delivered by the end of 2024. Rivian will also increase the production line rate by 30%.
