DEWALT Releases NACS to CCS1 Adapter, Rebranded from A2Z EV

DEWALT has officially entered the EV charging market with a NACS to CCS1 Fast Charging Adapter. This adapter allows CCS1-equipped vehicles, like Rivian’s R1T and R1S, to access over 12,000 Tesla Superchargers across the U.S.
If the design looks familiar, that’s because it’s not actually an original DEWALT product. Instead, DEWALT is using the exact same adapter as the A2Z Typhoon Pro Plug, which they’re purchasing directly from A2Z EV and rebranding under their own name.
The adapter supports 500 amps and 1000 volts, making it a high-performance option for EV owners. It’s priced at $199 and is available at The Home Depot, DEWALT.com, and Amazon.

For many new EV owners, a brand like DEWALT carries more recognition and trust compared to lesser-known EV accessory companies. Selling these adapters in major retail stores makes it easier for everyday consumers to find a reliable option.
The A2Z Typhoon Pro Plug has already proven to be one of the best NACS to CCS1 adapters on the market. DEWALT rebranding it instead of developing their own just confirms that A2Z got it right from the start.
If you’re looking to save some money, the official A2Z version is available for a lower price. Using this affiliate link drops the cost to around $170 instead of DEWALT’s $199: A2Z NACS to CCS1 Adapter.
