Upcoming Hotfix for Gen 1 Dual Standard and Standard+ Regenerative Braking Problem

Multiple Rivian owners have reached out to RivianTrackr noticing that they no longer have the High regenerative braking option in their vehicles. Owners noticed this after the latest software update 2024.19.04 was released and could only see Standard and the new Low regenerative braking option. This is in comparison to Quad owners who have Low, Standard, and High.

The Rivian team has confirmed to RivianTrackr an issue impacting only the Gen 1 Dual Standard and Standard+ models, where the regenerative braking settings are incorrectly mapped to Standard/Low instead of High/Standard.

Rivian will be releasing a hotfix to address this problem.
