Rivian Extends Friends & Family Discount For Gen 2; Valid Until 9/30

Rivian has extended the Friends and Family discount for a limited time to Generation 2 R1T and R1S vehicles in addition to the existing Friends and Family discount on Generation 1 R1T Large vehicles.

Owners can purchase a Generation 2 R1T or R1S and receive $2,500 USD discount ($3,500 CAD). Generation 1 R1T with a Large battery pack and receive $6,000 USD discount ($9,000 CAD).

The Friends & Family program returned in June and was limited to 2023/2024 R1T Large vehicles only.

How It Works

Rivian employees are allocated 40 discount codes (20 for Gen 1 and 20 for Gen 2) each to share with friends and family. To sweeten the deal, employees receive a $500 referral bonus for each order completed using their discount code. However, there are a few essential requirements for customers to qualify:

1. Pre-Order Requirement: Customers must have already placed an order for an eligible Rivian before contacting a Rivian employee for the discount.
