Navigation Improvements

We’ve made the following enhancements:

  • Improved the navigation search experience.
    • Updated the search with Google Maps to show an auto-complete suggestion as you enter a word. Select the auto-complete suggestion to see the search results.
    • Added complete addresses of locations and the search terms you used to recent search results.
    • With Connect+, added place details, such as photos, from Google Maps to points of interest so you can be better informed about potential destinations.
  • Increased the accuracy of traffic data and improved route color-coding.
  • Integrated trip preferences with the navigation settings for greater ease of use so you can access trip preferences at any time.
  • Made route previews available while you change trip preferences during a drive.

Enhanced Auto Mode for Cabin Climate

When the climate system is in Auto mode, the fan speed control now has three options: Low, Medium, or High. Also, if you change the fan speed, the climate system remains in Auto mode to keep the cabin climate comfortable.

New Launch Mode for Tri-Motor Vehicles

Designed for use on a closed circuit track in dry road conditions, Launch mode provides maximum off-the-line acceleration and increased top speed, along with race stats for 0-to-60 mph (0-to-100 km/h) and quarter-mile race times. To activate Launch mode, go to Drive Modes and choose Sport mode. Then choose Launch mode and follow the on-screen instructions. For more information and important warnings, go to the Owner’s Guide and search for Launch mode.
