Rivian R2 Handle Redesign Aims to Fix Safety Flaws
Rivian is tweaking the R2 SUV before it even hits the road, and honestly, I think it’s a smart move. Bloomberg reports that the company is redesigning the door handles so the manual release will be easier to see and right next to the main handle. The R2 is still set to launch in the first half of 2026. If you’ve followed the drama around EV door handles, you know this is a big deal. NHTSA has been probing Tesla’s…

Rivian Teases R2 Capability with Water Fording Clip
Rivian just dropped a clip of the R2 production-intent model charging through water at their fording test facility and honestly, I’m even more hyped than before. They didn’t give us official numbers, but I’m guessing it’ll come in under the R1T (43.1 inches) and R1S (43.0 inches). Even so, the fact that Rivian is already showing it off in action says a lot. I’ve seen a lot of the R2 teasers over the past few months, but this one hits…

October 2025 Rivian Offers & Incentives
With the $7,500 federal lease credit now gone, Rivian is stepping in this October with its own set of offers to help soften the blow. Buyers can choose from low APR financing on 2025 and 2026 models, lease rebates worth up to $6,500, and discounted upgrade bundles like the All-Terrain and Road Trip packages. Honestly, I think these deals help, but they don’t completely make up for losing the federal incentive. Last Updated: 10/01/2025 Need help? If you need help…
